Yes creative liberty should be used only for purposes with substantial meaning and should not be used to justify one’s weaknesses. It is also well said that
”Creative writing cannot be confined to any techniques but rather anything that comes straight from the heart and that can be clothed in a diction that has all ingredients of the art possessed by a connoisseur or a narrator, should create the desired effect.”
